Sorry, I was a little under the weather when I was heading for class last night and I forgot to bring my camera! There will several other pours during the course, so I am sure I will get some shots of everyone in action.
In the mean time, I did get a couple of decent images of the result of my work up to this point.
The lighting isn’t all that great since I shot these on my kitchen counter. It still needs a lot of work, but I thought it might be interesting to show some of the stages. I thought it was very interesting to see the bronze flow marks on the surface of the plate as the hot metal flowed through the sprue gates.
I borrowed an image from Howard Schatz as my inspriation for this relief.
