This past fall I volunteered at the 2015 symposium held annually in Brookline, NH at Andre’s Institute of Art (AIA).

This year, there were only 3 participants and I was able to spend a lot more time with each of them assisting with creation and installation of their respective works.

I wasn’t able to start the first week along with the artists, but I did spend the last two weeks working there full time. Actually, more than full time. Supporting the symposium artists requires a great deal of time outside their regular hours – which are long enough.

In my spare time, in addition to supporting the symposium artists, I worked on a few repairs to existing sculpture – something that is an ongoing job at AIA.
