A friend of mine named, Susan Marshall just co-wrote / published a book titled, “Changing Lanes, Road Maps to Midlife Renewal”. I attended her book signing a couple of weeks back where I met a fellow sculptor and acquaintance of an artist that I currently work with at The Purple Door Studios – small world!
Once I got around to reading her book I couldn’t help notice that I could be the poster boy – they may as well just put my face on the cover. Just kidding, but really the stories all have a very familiar common theme to my relatively recent decision to follow my heart [of stone] into the art community.
A must read for anyone that has reached the point in their life where they dissatisfied with their current career / direction in life. Know anyone like that?
